Our surf camp in Sintra, is located only 40 km west of Lisbon, in the middle of the National Park of Cascais-Sintra. The nearest surf spot is Praia Grande beach, 1 km away, which offers excellent conditions for surfing lessons with its beach break. The Starpine house is equipped with a large garden, swimming pool, yoga room and much more not only invite you to relax after surfing, but also make the surf camp a favored destination for families. The area around Sintra is known for its green forests and beautiful landscapes. We can only recommend a hike to the most western point of Europe, Cabo da Roca! For other activities besides surfing, the national park with its cliffs, hills and forests offers ideal conditions for mountain biking and climbing. The cultural heart of the national park is the town of Sintra. There are also excellent hiking trails along the old castles and palaces, such as the Palácio Nacional da Pena.

The Lodge accommodation is placed in the middle of the National Park of Cascais-Sintra. The rooms offer space for 1, 2 or 3-4 persons, are equipped with their own or share a bathroom.

In the surf camp, there is a kitchen, living room and TV, a dining and working area, a small BBQ area, a beautiful huge garden with swimming pool and an extra yoga room. Especially for families these houses offer ideal conditions for a relaxing holiday with lots of fun.

In our surf camp everything is about the surf! It is perfect for beginners as well as for advanced surfers.

We make sure that the lessons take place when surfing conditions are most suitable for your skills and always adjust your lessons time to the swell, wind and tides.
You will be taught by our instructors 5 days a week for 2 hours a day at a surf spot that suits your skills, mostly Praia das Macas.
Our head coach is a local and grew up here in Sintra, so he knows the surrounding surf spots very well. All surf instructors have an ISA, BSA, FPS (at least level 1) or adequate license, which also includes lifeguard and didactic training. Besides the certification all surf instructors have many years of experience in teaching and surfing.
To be able to offer an intensive and closely supervised surf course, the surf course groups consist of a maximum of 6 people. During the surf course you will be equipped with high quality equipment from us. With 40 surfboards, from softboards for beginners to mini-mal's, shortboards and longboards for advanced surfers, we will find the perfect equipment for you. We also offer experienced surfers a selection of fiberglass boards in different sizes. Your equipment will be at your disposal during the whole stay and you can use it even on days when there are no lessons.
